Before School Care

For those families that need to drop off a bit earlier in the morning, the Multi-Purpose Room (located on the first floor of the school) opens at 7:00 a.m. every morning, Monday through Friday and children can stay there until 7:45 a.m. when they are released to classrooms. Children should bring a quiet activity. Teachers rotate supervision of Before School Care. The cost is 50 cents per visit. No breakfast is served but children may bring something from home. This is a drop-in service. For information, contact the school office at 233-7169.

After School Care Program

The After School Care (ASC) Program is held daily on our campus until 6:00 pm. Monday through Friday. ASC is also open on half school days and children are required to bring a lunch with drink from home. Our students enjoy the friendship of their classmates as they engage in playtime indoors and out, supervised homework, arts & crafts, movie time and other seasonal and fun activities. Snacks are served each day. Parents must register for the program. Registration can be done at the beginning of the school year or any time throughout the school year. There is an annual $25 registration fee and costs are:

$9 per day for 1 child
$11 per day for 2 children
$15 per day for 3 or more children.

St. Anthony's Summer Care Program

Summer care is open not only to all St. Anthony school children but also to all area Diocesean school children who are enrolled for the 2010-2011 school year. Summer Care is offered at St. Anthony's School, 2310 E. Jefferson Blvd, South Bend (Corner of Jefferson & Ironwood). The Program offers two snacks per day (children must bring their own lunch), Arts & Crafts, Indoor and outdoor games, Outside Play (playground and field), Theme days & Picnics and Field trips.

Registration forms can be printed from the website (click here) and returned by June 1, 2010 to Summer Care Program, St. Anthony de Padua Catholic School, 2310 E. Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46628. There is a $35 family registration fee that should be sent with the registration form. Please make check payable to St. Anthony's-Summer Care.

Fees vary dependant upon a 3-day week, 5-day week and number of children attending. Prices range from $60 per week to $275 per week. For more information about Summer Care, please contact Director Barb DeMetz at 255-6205 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
