Parish Committees
Parish Pastoral Council The Parish Pastoral Council serves as an advisory group to the Pastor, especially in matters affecting the spiritual life of the community. Service on this Council is for a specified period of time and meetings are held three to four times a year.
Parish Finance Committee The Finance Committee advises the Pastor on matters pertaining to fiscal administration. Some of its responsibilities are the preparation of the general Parish Budget as well as the collaborative overview of the School Budget.
Stewardship Committee The Stewardship Committee fosters an environment in which the core aspects of stewardship — time, talent, and treasure; gifts of God to each one — are understood, accepted, and practiced throughout the Parish. The Stewardship Committee facilitates participation in and awareness of the breadth of ministries across the Parish primarily through the annual Ministry Fair and Commitment Weekend (typically held in the late Spring). The Committee, in consultation with the Pastor, also supports the development of new or dormant ministries within the Parish based upon the Spirit-led interests of the worship community.
The Committee meets quarterly, but is engaged in planning and supporting numerous events and activities throughout the year. Click here for more information about the Stewardship Committee.
Vocations Committee Realizing the responsibility of the laity to foster vocations to the priesthood and religious life of men and women, this committee seeks out ways and means to assist in this important ministry through prayer and action. |
